The Power of Connection.

Connection, friendship, community share an essential bond; each have the power to create big shifts in your life. I know because I have experienced it firsthand.

Vision + Aligned Action

Vision + Aligned Action

It’s been a few months since I had my business epiphany of where I want to focus my professional efforts. Although, I may have been silent publicly, there has been a lot happening behind the scenes. It’s funny once you have such a clear vision and message hitting you so strongly, you would think YES! Now things will really start to pick up. Well, interestingly, it had the opposite effect on me. The walls went up and suddenly I had that all too familiar feeling of doubt and fear creep back in, which always brings me back to one of my favorite quotes from Marianne Williamson’s Return to Love...

Self-Love = Self-Worth

Self-Love = Self-Worth

Self-love seems like a catch phrase these days especially this time of year if you are single and Valentine’s Day is just days away. But in reality, self-love is the idea of making your self-worth a priority whether single, in a relationship, married, whatever your situation may be. It’s about creating space to get out of your head and open yourself up to endless possibilities. The key here is to raise your energy to attract equally aligned energetic opportunities, relationships, and experiences to flow your way.

2015: the year of reward.

2015: the year of reward.

As I sat down to create my life theme for the year, I began reflecting on the lessons that kept popping up for me in 2014. Where did I need to go deeper? Where was I still playing small? What challenges am I being guided to confront head on? There was a recurring centering thought that I noticed. In October 2014 I launched my business, laid the foundation, then sat back and waited. Not sure what I was waiting for. I guess I thought things would start to magically just take off. I mean, I fought through the resistance, insecurity and fear to finally put my idea out to the world. So shouldn’t that be enough to get the momentum really going?? Wrong! That was playing it way too safe. Now it’s about to get real.

Prep for the coming year with intention setting

Prep for the coming year with intention setting

I’ve never been one to create New Year’s resolutions. It just seemed like the thing people do in theory not fully in practice. Maybe they stick with it at first but 3 weeks or a month down the road they are back to their old ways. Something about it always seemed inauthentic to me and somewhat forced. Usually like a burden people take on because they feel it is something they HAVE to do which makes it more difficult to maintain for the long term. Think about it. If you add yet another thing to your ‘to do’ list, you’re more likely to create a feeling of stress around it because it’s something else you have to get to or check off the list. As opposed to actually creating a practice that you feel good about and you WANT to maintain because you enjoy it and it makes you feel good.
